ASB Survey 2024

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey about antisocial behaviour in Surrey.

Reducing antisocial behaviour (ASB) in Surrey is a key focus of community safety partners including your police and Local Authorities.

We know that ASB is not minor for those involved, and we recognise that it sometimes can be hard to know who to report a specific issue to. We recognise that all types of ASB can have a serious impact on individuals and communities, interfering with everyday life and damaging wellbeing.

Persistent ASB is also linked to the bigger picture of community safety in Surrey. For example, it may indicate that serious and organised crime, including exploitation, is taking place.

In order to reduce ASB and improve the support for victims of ASB in Surrey, it is important for the agencies that deal with different types of antisocial behaviour to understand the problems you face, the impact it has on you, and how we can do better.

The below questions are from Surrey Police on behalf of the Surrey Community Harm and ASB Reduction Group. The Group works with wider partners to protect our communities and support victims.

This survey should take five to ten minutes to complete. It will have a direct impact on the steps we take within the partnership and with those partners to reduce ASB where you live.

How your responses will be used?
Your response to this survey is being collected by Surrey Police (as data controller) and will be used to inform further work. The purpose of the  Surrey Community Harm and ASB Reduction Group is to bring together a range of partners and representatives from relevant agencies to identify good practice and address barriers to effective partnership delivery in response to anti-social behaviour, serious and organised crime and other emerging community safety issues.
The group will promote a proportionate and balanced response to issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB), serious and organised crime (SOC) and community safety, which reflect levels of harm caused to victims and communities whilst always putting the victim at the heart of our work.

By submitting your response, you are giving your consent for us to use the information you have provided. All responses will be treated in confidence.
